A Weekend in Fort Collins & Denver: Weddings, Breweries, and Meow Wolf Magic

When an invitation to a wedding in Fort Collins came our way, we knew it was the perfect excuse to turn the trip into a full-blown Colorado adventure. From exploring the local brewery scene to experiencing the mind-bending world of Meow Wolf in Denver, our weekend was packed with incredible food, drinks, and unforgettable moments.

Exploring Fort Collins: A Beer Lover’s Paradise

Fort Collins is known for its craft beer scene, and we made sure to experience it firsthand. With over 20 breweries in town, there’s something for every beer enthusiast. A few standouts from our visit:

  • New Belgium Brewing – Home to the iconic Fat Tire, this brewery offers a fun, laid-back vibe with great tours and even better beer.

  • Odell Brewing Co. – A must-visit for hop lovers, Odell serves up incredible IPAs in a lively taproom with a spacious outdoor patio.

  • Funkwerks – Specializing in Saisons and sours, this spot is perfect if you’re looking for something unique and refreshing.

Beyond beer, we explored Old Town Fort Collins, which feels like a charming step back in time. With its historic architecture, cute boutiques, and lively bars, it’s easy to spend an afternoon wandering and soaking in the local atmosphere.

A Beautiful Wedding in the Foothills

Of course, the main reason for our trip was to celebrate love! The wedding took place in a stunning venue just outside of Fort Collins. There’s something magical about a Colorado wedding—between the crisp mountain air, the picturesque setting, and the warm hospitality, it was a night to remember.

Denver Adventures: Meow Wolf & More

After the wedding, we made our way to Denver for a day of exploration, starting with one of the city’s most immersive attractions—Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station. This interactive art experience is like stepping into a surreal dreamscape, with mind-bending exhibits, hidden passageways, and dazzling visual effects. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to tap into their creative side.

Savoring the Food Scene

No trip is complete without indulging in local eats, and both Fort Collins and Denver delivered some incredible meals.

Final Thoughts

Between the stunning wedding, brewery hopping in Fort Collins, and the vibrant energy of Denver, this trip was the perfect mix of celebration and adventure. Whether you’re planning a wedding weekend or just looking for a fun getaway, Northern Colorado has so much to offer.
